On Tuesday, May 17th after 19:00h CET we will do a Panorama system update. There will be a downtime of 2 hours. This new release will include the following new functionalities:
NEW FEATURES:
- We are pleased to present the beta version of the new Feedback 360º tool.
In this first version, only projects in which there is self-evaluation by the participant manager evaluation can be carried out.
Like any other Panorama tool, you can find it in the tool market when you are setting up your project’s assessment matrix. Then, add the variables that you want to evaluate with this tool (remember that you have to do the variable – tool crossing from the administration panel).
Here’s how to set it up:
You can edit the name and definition as in other tools. Then you have 3 tabs where you have to configure:
Basic configuration:
- Select who will be evaluated (in this first version only self-evaluation by participant and manager evaluation will be available).
- Select a due date for the evaluation
- Decide if you want to send an automatic reminder email and how many days before the end of the project you want the people who are part of the evaluation to receive it.
- Decide if you want to automatically send the results reports to the participants.
Evaluation Content:
- Select the questions to be used in the evaluation according to each variable. Remember that these questions have to be configured through the Administration Panel. It works in the same way as when you set up an observation guide.
- Select the levels you are going to use in the evaluation and define the texts for each level.
- You can add more questions to explore important issues about your participants that are not related to variables. You can decide which questions will be visible for each evaluator group.
- The relationships for the evaluation are created by assigning a manager to a participant. How to assign a manager to a participant is explained below.
Communications:
- Edit the emails that participants will receive when they finish their evaluations and the invitation email that managers who have to evaluate a participant in that project will receive.
In the table of participants, the representation of the tool is as follows:
As the evaluations of the different evaluation groups are carried out, they are marked with a “blue check”.
You can combine this tool in the project with any other tool that is available for your client in Panorama.
- From the People module, you can assign a manager to each participant in 2 different ways.
- By uploading participants from an Excel file.
- From the participant’s details, from Actions – Edit information – other data.
The manager’s name will be displayed both in the participant detail and as a column in the participant table in People and Projects.
- From the landing page, participants can now access their hub, from where they will have access to all the projects they are participating in.
In the hub, you will find two tabs:
Participating in: here participants will see the projects in which they are involved.
To-Do: List of tasks related to the 360º tool. Here participants will see the evaluations that they have to do as managers.
- The 360° evaluation is represented by a report showing:
- Graph with the professional competencies of the participant indicating the average results of the evaluation groups.
- Graph of strengths and development areas.
- General analysis of each of the competencies evaluated, including the evaluators’ comments.
- Detailed analysis of each of the competencies which includes the results obtained from each of the questions associated with each competence, as well as the evaluators’ comments.
Remember that this is a beta version, so before testing it on a real project, try it out!
Create your own evaluation project with this new tool and find out more about it and discover what kind of projects you can do with it. You will find more news about the tool in upcoming releases! By the way, any feedback is welcome!
